Chemical Resistant Coatings

Chemical processing equipment such as filter tanks, small vessels, valves, reactors, flanges, piping and more have been successfully coated by Orion for wide range of manufacturers. These savage corrosive and high temperature environments are combated with a multi-coat application of one of many fluoropolymers such as Teflon™ PTFE, Halar® ECTFE, and Tefzel® ETFE coatings.

Halar© is an exceptionally durable coating and is one of the best coatings for chemical resistance. Halar coatings provide excellent impact and abrasion resistance and have electrical insulating properties over a wide range of temperatures. To ensure a long-lasting coating, we the metal substrate is properly prepared prior to the application of the coating, as it is the foundation of the coating adhesion necessary in these environments.
