Everlube Ever-Slik & Perma-Slik Corrosion Resistant Coatings

Everlube® Ever-Slik® & Perma-Slik® Coating Specifications
Everlube® Ever-Slik® and Perma-Slik® coatings are designed for use in harsh environments where corrosion resistance is a primary objective.
Ever-Slik® 1221 is a phenolic-based coating that offers very good corrosion resistance. With an application thickness of only 8 to 20 microns, it is ideal for use on rare-earth magnets. Common industry uses include automotive aerospace, elastomer and other industries. It has a low cure temperature and a continuous operating temperature range from -100° to 300° Fahrenheit.
Perma-Slik® GLF is an epoxy-based molybdenum disulfide coating that provides a low coefficient of friction and offers very good wear resistance, corrosion resistance and load performance. Common industry uses include aerospace, hardware and general purpose use. Its low air dry cure temperature allows it to be applied to all standard structural metals and alloys, as well as some plastics and rubbers. It has a continuous operating temperature range from -100° to 250° Fahrenheit. It is compatible with MilSpec MIL-L-23398D, MIL-PRF-46147D, and lead-free specifications.
Orion has experience applying a wide range of Everlube® coatings, and the optimal coating is selected based on the application, operating conditions, and the performance needs of the part.
